Assembly Elections are fast approaching and Parties have intensified their campaign across constituencies. As announced earlier Janasena going to contest all 175 seats which ensures that there will be a triangular fight just like 2009 and many “political analysts” are hinting towards a similar result
“Two opposition parties will split anti-government votes which will ultimately benefit ruling party”.
Let’s look at Pawan Kalyan’s Tours
- Pawan Kalyan’s janasena is very strong in both Godavari districts where TDP won 27 seats(+2 BJP) out of 34 with the support of janasena in 2014 and now JanaSena is eyeing clean sweep in these districts. TDP is also strong in Uttarandhra which constitutes of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam these districts combined have 34 seats out of which 24 seats won by TDP in 2014 but understanding this Pawan Kalyan started “Janasena porata yatra” from these districts and focused on local issues which garnered him a lot of support and his previous support for “Uddanam kidney issue” which was ignored by both Ruling and Opposition parties connected him emotionally to the masses.
- Pawan Kalyan has toured Anantapur before starting his porta yatra and then again completed district tour after 2nd December’s janasena kavvathu now the interesting thing is here also TDP is strong and won 12 seats out of 14 in 2014. Now without completing his tour in Rayalaseema districts he again heading to paderu, Visakhapatnam where he’ll have public meeting on 23rd January.
- After analyzing this we can conclude that Pawan Kalyan seems to have learned from 2009 and now he’s going for breaking the Ruling party’s stronghold and then split anti-government votes from YSRCP also instead of focusing all 175 seats and end up getting the leftover.
