Karnataka Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar took a sensational decision and disqualified 14 rebel MLAs. Of them, 11 are Congress MLAs and the remaining 3 MLAs belong to the JDS. The Speaker’s decision came as a planned strategy to deny any chance for them to help the BJP form the government.
Meanwhile, CM Yediyurappa is preparing for proving his majority in the Assembly on Monday. The BJP leaders are coming out with alternative plans to outsmart rivals and win the trust vote.
Ex CM Kumaraswamy has announced that there’s no question of his JDS party supporting the BJP. Congress leader Siddaramaiah demanded that the BJP should give in writing all the names of the MLAs who are supporting its government. He pointed out that the BJP has no majority in the Assembly and it cannot prove it.
