Telugu360 already revealed that piracy group Tamil Rockers challenged the team of 2.0 after they announced that they would release the pirated version online on the release day. As challenged, Tamil Rockers released the film on their website today. Director Shankar and the team of 2.0 urged Rajinikanth fans to support them and prevent piracy before the release.
2.0 which is made on a whopping budget of Rs 600 crores released across the globe today in 3D in various languages. Despite of Madras High Court directing 37 internet service providers, Tamil Rockers released the pirated version of 2.0. Over 2000 portals belonging to Tamil Rockers have been blocked after Lyca Productions filed a suit. Lyca Productions today requested all the movie lovers to watch the film on large screen and prevent piracy.
