2.0 Budget

Superstar Rajinikanth has been riding high with the success of his last outing Kabali and the actor is busy with the shoot of 2.0 which is in final stages of shoot. Sensational filmmaker Shankar is leaving no stone unturned for the film to turn out to be a classic. The movie has been announced to be made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crores and 2.0 is said to have a huge dose of visual effects. The recently unveiled first look garnered wide response and with the entry of Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar as the lead antagonist, 2.0 have become ever bigger.

The latest update is that the makers raised the budget of 2.0 by Rs 50 crores considering the film’s craze and to enhance the visual effects. The makers revealed that they are taking enough measures to reach the Hollywood standards. 2.0 is the costliest ever film made in the history of Asian cinema and it has been also revealed that the movie will release in six languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English, Japanese and Chinese.

The dialogue versions of all these languages are ready and 2.0 will release in 3D and will mark the biggest ever release for any Asian film across the globe till date. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the movie and 2.0 will release during Diwali 2017. The principle shoot is said to be wrapped up by this month.
