When two versatile actors, Mohan Lal and Prakash Raj, come together for an interesting project, audience can expect earth shattering performances on screen. Last seen two decades ago in the 1997 released political drama ‘Iruvar’, the acting powerhouses are going to share screen space this year for the most expensive Malayalam film which is pegged as a rustic entertainer.
Titled as Odiyan, the film is about a tribal gang who are prevalent in Kerala. The story focuses on the myths of the gang and how they disguised as animals during night hours to attack their enemies. While Mohan Lal will play an emotionally charged character, Prakash Raj will be seen in a negative role. To be helmed by Shri Kumar Menon, the film will be predominantly shot across major towns of South. Manju Warrior will play the female lead.
The film will feature world class VFX effects and the action scenes will be choreographed by Peter Heins. Sreekar Prasad will crank the camera.
