The film ’24’, involving Suriya and Samantha, is all set to hit the screens on the 6th of May. The film was earlier supposed to be released in Telugu through Sudhakar Reddy’s distribution wing. Sudhakar Reddy is the father of hero Nithiin.
But now, the film has changed hands and hero Prabhas’s friends, Pramod Uppalapati and Vamshi Krishna Reddy, will be releasing the film through their UV Creations banner. According to the latest update, UV Creations has bagged the distribution rights of Suriya’s upcoming Summer biggie, 24, for Andhra region. They have acquired the rights along with Studio Green for a hefty price. While the deal has not yet been officially communicated to the media, trade sources have confirmed the deal.
UV Creations is one of the most sought after production houses in Tollywood at present. They bagged big hits with Mirchi, Run Raja Run and Express Raja. They have a bunch of high profile projects in store which will go on floors soon or later. They are also making good strides in film distribution. Previously, UV Creations and Studio Green jointly distributed Baahubali in Tamil Nadu and bagged huge profits. They are planning a massive release all over Andhra Pradesh.
Nithiin and his father Sudhakar Reddy have been apprehensive about releasing 24 since a few weeks, as the film is coming in at a time when Nithiin’s ‘A..Aa’ is set for release.
