Speculation is becoming more curious with each passing day on AP election results. According to reports, Jana Sena has got considerable support from Kapu vote bank in Krishna, Guntur, West and East Godavari districts. The party has no winning edge in majority segments here but its vote split may change winning chances of rival TDP and YCP. Any slight edge will ensure final victory of the party concerned in the entire state.
It is already clear that the party coming to power will have to win at least 40 out of the total 67 assembly seats in these four districts. Krishna has got 16 seats, Guntur 17, West Godavari 15 and East Godavari 19. The leaders of both TDP and YCP are busy getting booth level data and get a true estimate of how Pawan Kalyan factor is going to leave an impact.
For the ruling TDP, it has become even a greater problem to clearly ascertain whether Kapu beneficiaries of Pasupu Kumkuma and Annadata Sukheebhava have voted for their party or not. TDP’s hope is that even if 20 to 30 per cent of Kapu beneficiaries voted for their candidates, this would mean a certain victory in majority segments. YCP leaders are confident that the Kapus have voted for Jana Sena hundred per cent which would only benefit their party.
