Karnataka was stunned as Minister N. Rajanna made shocking revelations during the March 20 Assembly session. He claimed that 48 MLAs from Karnataka have fallen victim to honey traps and some national leaders were also caught in this scandal.
According to Rajanna, these compromising videos are stored on pen drives and used for blackmail purposes. This revelation has created a stir not just in Karnataka but across the nation. The minister has demanded a thorough investigation to expose the masterminds behind these operations. Rajanna’s comments came after BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal alleged comments on legislators over a honey trap in becoming the chief minister.
Rajanna insisted that those responsible for orchestrating these honey traps must be identified. He specifically mentioned that “producers” and “directors” of these operations should be publicly named, suggesting an organized network behind these activities. He also claimed that 48 political leaders’ pen drives are available. Rajanna requested Home Minister G Parameswaran to take action on his complaint, which he will soon do. He claims that the honey trap operation has two groups operating one on their side and one on the opposite side. He claimed that if they are ready to open up about their directors, they can reveal theirs.
The allegations have triggered internal unrest within the Congress party. With 48 politicians allegedly entrapped, including MLAs, MPs, and ministers, political corridors are buzzing with tension and speculation.
