Young Rebelstar Prabhas dedicated five complete years for Baahubali and his hard work along with his physical transformation have been clearly visible on screen. The actor has been specially trained in rock climbing, horse-riding, kick-boxing and sword fighting for the movie under the supervision of experts. He essayed two roles in the movie Amarendra Baahubali and his son Mahendra Baahubali for the film. He had to be seen in different and extreme roles for the periodic drama.
As per the latest news, it costed a bomb for the makers of Baahubali for the physical transformation of the actor. A team lead by Lakshman Reddy (Winner of Mr World 2010) trained Prabhas and they kept a close eye on the actor’s diet. Meals have been planned with perfect mix and Prabhas has been asked to work out with heavy weights after the completion of the shot on regular basis. It has been revealed that Prabhas worked out during the mid-nights when the shoot of the film has been pushed to nights. Mr Reddy revealed that he always monitored the actor’s food closely and never allowed him to have junk food after he craved for it.
After shooting for high voltage action episodes in extreme temperatures, the actor got exhausted and hence 6-8 meals have been planned throughout the shoot which included chicken, egg whites, crab, mutton, nuts, fish along with almonds and vegetables. It has been revealed that the physical transformation of Prabhas costed Rs 15 crores for the makers over five years. SS Rajamouli was not bothered about the budget, but he wanted the actor to look as planned in both the roles.
