Seasoned director Vamshi, who is popular for his self-styled film making, is back with the sequel to his iconic superhit comedy Ladies Tailor. Titled as Fashion Designer, the film has Raj Tarun and Anisha Ambrose in the lead roles. Having wrapped up the shoot, the comedy caper is currently in its post production phase.
Recently, the pre look poster of the film was unveiled through social media. Apart from featuring a sewing machine and a vintage 90’s bicycle, the poster focuses on a tailor who was seen taking measurements of a girl’s private parts. This offensive poster has drawn strong criticism from Lakshmi Manchu, Rakul Preet Singh and few others, who are questioning about the decorum that is being maintained while portraying women in films.
Madhura Sreedhar, the producer of film, clarified that they have no intentions to project women in a discourteous way. He added that the poster is just depicted from a sequence in the film and was not intentional.
