Victory Venkatesh stepped out after a long wait with his latest movie titled Guru. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the movie showcased Venky as a boxing coach in the film. This sports drama managed to occupy decent number of screens during this summer and the film received exceptional response from the audience all over. Pawan Kalyan’s latest outing Katamarayudu released on March 24th and the movie minted decent figures over the first weekend.

However it was Venky’s Guru which shattered the film’s dreams as Guru turned out to be the first option during the weekend. Katamarayudu collections even dropped further and the film registered low figures all over during the second weekend of its run. Venky’s performance from Guru has been widely lauded by the audience and the film has been performing stupendous across the multiplexes of the Telugu speaking states. Katamarayudu will now end up as one more debacle for Pawan Kalyan in his career and the film is expected to leave the buyers in huge losses.
