Taking a dig at how the shares of big ticket films are wrongly projected to save face, producer Abhishek Nama, popular as a leading Nizam distributor, made sensational comments on the current market trend in Tollywood.
He said that seeing profits for star heroes films has become very difficult for buyers and there is no use in distributing big ticket films. Abhishek added that only 40 percent of the ticket price will be the distributor share, but the figures are wrongly projected. He further stated that only medium and low budget films are reaping benefits for distributors.
He said that actors like Nani , Sharwanand and Nikhil are the ones who are taking the market forward by doing sensible films with limited budget.
After distributing various big ticket films, Abhisek Pictures forayed into production last year. The production house is currently busy with 5 projects which are in different stages of production.
