Stylish star Allu Arjun, who is currently filming for Harish Shankar’s Duvvada Jagannadham, will next team up with writer Vakkantham Vamshi, who will be making his directional debut with this film. The formal launch will take place in a few days and the regular shooting will commence after Summer.
According to the latest update, young Kannada starlet Rashmika Mandanna, who hogged the limelight with the recent smash hit Kirik Party, is in talks to play the female lead in this film which is tentatively titled Naa Peru Surya. Reportedly, Rashmika was in Hyderabad recently for a look test and did a trail shoot. It is learnt that the makers are happy with the test and her impressive performance in Kirik Party is likely to be the clincher.
It remains to be seen if the quest for the film’s leading lady will end with Rashmika or not. Previously, few other names were considered for the role. An official confirmation will end all the speculations for sure.
