After making a sensational comeback with Khaidi No 150, Megastar Chiranjeevi is prepping up to play a village chieftain in his next film which is based on the unsung freedom fighter during British revolt, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who hails from Kurnool. Surender Reddy will wield the megaphone for this prestigious project and Ram Charan will once again don the producers hat for his father.
Speaking to fans yesterday while shooting for Sukumar’s flick, Charan clarified that the pre production activities for his dad’s film are in full swing and announced that the regular shooting will commence in August. Close sources revealed that the project will be launched on August 22nd on the eve of Megastar‘s birthday.
The film was supposed to start in April, but it was delayed due to script changes. SS Thaman will compose the soundtrack for the film.
