With the insurmountable success attained by Baahubali 2, master movie maker SS Rajamouli is now at the culmination of his career. The star director is currently on a long break and is yet to decide on his next projects. In his recent interview to a leading media portal, Rajamouli opened up about plagiarism and the impact of our cinema on western people.
About plagiarism, he said that no director with certain fame and popular would want to lift copy other’s ideas but they might get parallel thoughts. Rajamouli admitted that he did copy some scenes in his movies, but asserted that he did it without offending the original.
Reacting on whether Baahubali 2 will stay in contention for Oscars, Rajamouli opined that it is difficult for our films to win Oscars as Hollywood is far better in terms of film making and technical standards.
