Following the trend of actors’ heirs trying their luck as actors, noted Telugu actor Sivaji Raja’s son Vijay is all set to make his debut as hero in Tollywood.
Our reliable sources have confirmed that Sivaji Raja has been holding discussions with director Teja to launch his son. After scoring a decent success with last Friday release, ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’, Teja is likely to get an opportunity to direct a big film. In that case, he may tell Sivaji Raja to either wait or go with another director.
Sources further said that if not Teja, noted cinematographer Prasad Murella will make his directorial debut with the launch pad of Sivaji’s son. Murella has so far cranked camera for around 20 films including Attharintiki Daredi and Dookudu. With a vast experience of closely monitoring the works of big directors such as Trivikram, Srinu Vytal, Krishna Vamsi etc. Murella also looks like a reliable option. We will divulge more details on this project as soon as we come across a new development.
For the starters, Sivaji Raja is currently serving as the President of MAA (Movie Artists Association). Having acted in close to 400 films and good number of TV serials, he is a winner of 4 Nandi awards. We have to wait and see whether Vijay has inherited his father’s acting prowess.
