Analysis:
Anando Brahma is a film which is low in budget but not in content. It is a good story backed with commercially trendy horror genre narrated lighter vein. The rib tickling comedy scenes in second half are this film’s core strength, rest of the scenes are fillers.
As the movies opens, director takes us in to the main story straight away. The first twist (Inspired from Hollywood film ‘The others’) that comes within 10 minutes of the start time will ensure that the Telugu audience are glued to the story. After scoring high with first impression, the story slightly starts going down. Each character, their need for money have been showcased until interval.
Srinivas Reddy along with Shakalaka Shankar as an aspiring hero who is good at imitating celebrities, Vennela Kishore as person with night blindness and Tagubothu Ramesh as drunkard create a laughing riot in the second half. Audience will definitely like these scenes. Towards pre-climax, story takes serious turn and the narration of flashback begins. The climax part is a bit violent and not so convincing.
There are no songs in this film which is a refreshing aspect. This film has been made on shoestring budget and the duration is just 2 hours. Despite being a low budget for the theme, Director Mahi Raghav succeeded in creating bunch of rib tickling scenes. Production values are adequate as this story doesn’t demand more budget. Producers Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy are lucky to get this subject which will fetch high returns.

Performances:
Casting is one of the major strengths of this film. Tapsee, Vijaya Chandar, Srinivasa Reddy, Shakalaka shankar, Ramesh and Vennela Kishore every one excelled in their roles. Prabhas srinu and Posani got shorter roles. Rajiv Kanakala played a key role after a gap which he did well.
Verdict:
Anando Brahma works for its hilarious second half. This comedy horror genre film has been shot on shoestring budget, most likely will make good profit. Watch it with limited expectations, you’ll not be disappointed with its nice comedy.
