Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu graded the performance of the leaders in accomplishing the ‘Intintiki TDP’ massive outreach programme. He expressed disappointment over the failure to conduct the program appropriately in various constituencies.
About 20 constituencies were given C and D grades on Wednesday. Majority constituencies in West Godavari district secured B-grade. Three constituencies in Vijayawada have been given A-grade.
He vented ire on Anantapur and reportedly said that they were destroying the strongholds of TDP in the district. The TDP supremo warned the in-charges of these 20 segments that they will not have political future and new faces will contest in 2019 elections, if the program is not executed precisely.
Naidu deliberated on complaints received from public and reviewed the progress of the outreach programme in a four-hour teleconference on Wednesday. Complaints about construction of houses, dual pensions, PDS, housing schemes have been discussed.
Under the NTR Rural Housing Scheme people received only Rs 80,000 worth funds, so there is a discontent to certain extent among the beneficiaries. The CM said that steps would be taken to ensure the rest of funds will be allocated and to increase the satisfaction level of the people.
