Meanwhile, OPS (O Panneer Selvam) Meets PM Modi.So rumors and oppostion party’s allegations started about ruling party joining forces with BJP.
The DMK party calls it a politically-loaded move to project AIADMK’s strengthening ties with the BJP. Though rumors about AIADMK joining with BJP have been circulating for months, it was not part of Modi’s recent cabinet reshuffle. It said it has yet to join the BJP-led coalition or announce any formal alliance.
But AIADMK refuted rumors on Saffron hoardings. “It is not saffron, it is red, which is aimed at creating awareness about dengue. I think those who see it as saffron are suffering from an eye problem. They should visit an ophthalmologist,” said a state minister D Jayakumar has said. CM Palaniswamy also dismissed the opposition’s allegations. “There is no surrender to the BJP. We work cordially with the Centre for Tamil Nadu’s development,” he told.
