Star heroine Anushka Shetty’s name is synonymous with female centric films. Having stormed the box office with films like Arundhati and Rudhramadevi, the lady superstar attained stardom on par with top heroes of South . She is now back to her favourite genre with a film titled as Bhaagamathie which has Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame as the director.

Bhaagamathie has been creating a solid buzz ever since the it was launched and the striking first look poster of the film, which features Anushka in a sinister look, has shot the buzz to the next level.

Telugu360 has learnt that the film has been getting sensational offers in the overseas market. Reportedly, a noted distribution house has offered a price in the range of 7-8 Crores for the overseas rights of Tamil and Telugu versions of Bhaagamathie. This offer also includes digital rights for Tamil version. However, UV creations thinking to give digital rights to Amazon. Nevertheless, this is a stunning offer considering the genre and it is a lady oriented film.

UV Creations, which is bankrolling this interesting project, is quite thrilled with the solid offers and looking for better deals in overseas. They are very confident of the outcome and are ready to release the film on their own.

Bhaagamathie is yet to confirm its release date. Unni Mukunda is playing a crucial role in the film.
