Satish Vegesna couldn’t convince NTR

Director Satish Vegesna bagged accolades for his clean slate portrayal of family relationships in Sathamanam Bhavati, which released earlier this year. The film was conferred with a national award in popular film category. Buoyed by the response, the talented director has readied yet another family oriented script and Srinivasa Kalyanam is the title in consideration for the film. Dil Raju is going to bankroll this film.

The script was initially narrated a young hero. But, keeping in mind the box office prospects, Dil Raju felt that a star hero is a sensible option for this film. He then approached NTR to play the lead role. After a couple of story sittings, NTR asked Satish Vegesena to come up with a more convincing narration. Media and industry circles speculated that NTR is very much on board for this project.

However, it is now learnt that NTR is not convinced with the final narration and decided not sign the project.

So, it remains to be seen who will be approached next for Srinivasa Kalyanam.
