Mahesh Babu organises Child Health Camp in Burripalem

Inspired by his onscreen character in Srimanthudu, Superstar Mahesh Babu adopted his ancestral village Burripalem in 2015. Last year in May, he visited Burripalem and promised to take up several development activities to turn into a model village by providing all basic amenities. Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata has been monitoring the progress of various activities in the village since the last few months.

Yesterday, on the eve of Children’s Day, Mahesh Babu and Andhra Hospitals have jointly organised a Child Health Camp in Burripalem. This is the 14th camp in the village and nearly 250 people have been diagnosed and free medicines were distributed on the occasion. The camp aimed at screening children with seasonal health ailments and several pediatric problems came out very successfully. An awareness program has also been held for children about the cleanliness and preventive measures.

On the other side, the construction of drainage systems and roads are progressing at a swift pace in Burripalem.
