Prakash Raj is one such actor in the film industry, who never afraid to raise his voice against the odd’s happening in the society. Now, he strikes back again. Recently, in a BJP event held in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the Karnataka government not to celebrate Tippu Sultan birth anniversary, which initiated by Congress government long during their reign.
He stated that in the land where Lord Hanuman is being worshipped, the Congress government has promoted the worship of Tipu Sultan and that government initiated it to insult their rich tradition. Now, Prakash gave a strong counter to it on Twitter, as “Yogi ji orders people of Karnataka “don’t celebrate tippu sultan in the land of hanuman” dear sir.. what’s your agenda again…#justasking.”
Prakash Raj also questioned them why they are reaping communal hatred to fight in elections. He shared a set of pictures in which the BJP leaders are joyfully celebrating Tipu Jayanti since many years. “Why celebrating Tippu Sultan birth anniversary had no issues in the previous years and all of a sudden you are sowing disharmony and hatred among the people in Karnataka ahead of elections.”
