Aggressive promotions have become an indispensable part of all movies. Especially, producers of big ticket films are shelling out huge amounts for marketing. But, the makers of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Agnyaathavaasi have not considered promotions as seriously as it is needed.
Any hype that has been generated for the film is due to the aggressive promotional strategies deployed by the overseas distributor. Right from the day the overseas deal was sealed, LA Telugu has been going all out in promoting the film quite aggressively which has been the major reason behind the tremendous hype that has been generated among audience.
After selling the film for a staggering price, promoting the film aggressively is the minimum thing expected from the producer. But, they just piggybacked on the overseas distributor.
The producer might argue that Pawan Kalyan’s films need no marketing. Instead, they could have taken a cue from Arka Media which explored each and every avenue to promote Baahubali 2. After the global success of Baahubali 1, everyone would have watched the follow up. But, the producers dedicated unparalleled resources for social media marketing to take the film to the next level.
