The recent tour of Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has bearing its fruits. Pleased with the invitation of KCR to the state to have a better picture of Telangana industrial policy, 45 representatives of various Chinese companies met KCR on Friday evening at Falknuma palace.
Impressed with the industrial policy and opportunities in the youngest state of India, two Chinese signed MoUs with Telangana government for setting up a prefab concrete manufacturing factory and for dry port solutions.
The Sany International Housing and Sany Heavy Industry were signed pacts.
The programme included a short video presentation on the advantages of Telangana for investment was shown to the delegation which highlighted opportunities in dry ports, power generation, power distribution, coal mining, social housing, road development and logistic parks.
The Chinese delegation who landed in Telangana in a special flight included Sany Group chairman Liang Wengen, president Tang Xiuguo, vice president Duan Dawei respectively, Sany India director and CEO Deepak Garg, top businessmen and representatives from construction and coal mining firms.
Few state cabinet minister and officials were also present at the event. The government said that this MoUs would pave way for more investments from Chinese companies in Telangana.
