Whenever Telugu films release during festival seasons like Dusheera and Sankranthi, it is quite common that aggressive promotions in the form of TV interviews and programs are carried out and aired on all leading channels.
This year Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi and NBK’s Jai Simha released amid high expectations.
Since its launch, Agnyaathavaasi has lagged behind promotions. Unfortunately, there were no promotional activities even during the festival season as well. This a is a very disappointing thing given the way the film is under performing at the box office.
On the other side, Balakrishna’s Jai Simha opened on a decent note at the box office. To take advantage of the festival season by aggressive promotions, Balakrishna and his team are going all out and started interacting with various news channels for special programs.
Besides doing two to three films every year and juggling between his political and personal life, at the age of 60 years, Balakrishna is putting in all possible efforts to take the film to the next level.
Quite contrastingly, Pawan Kalyan steered clear of promotions at a crucial time.
Well, many are commenting that Pawan should definitely learn from Balayya in this aspect. Yes, why not ?
