The Nampally Court on Friday suspended Driving Licence of Anchor Pradeep, who caught in drunken drivi check, for three years and imposed Rs. 2,100 penalty.
Mr. Pradeep was caught in a drunken drive check held at Jubilee Hills on 31st December and the breath analyser found 170 points of alcohol content in his blood. Police registered a case and sent him for counselling. During counselling session, he promised police that he would never drive vehicle under influence of alcohol and advised the same to general public.
There was a chance of possibility for imprisonment from one to three days but, the court imposed penalty followed by suspending his Driving Licence. Officials from the Road Transport Authority told telugu360.com that they maintain database of drunken driving cases for suspending driving licence and after certain period, the suspensions will be revoked automatically based on the validity.
