With just around 1 year left for upcoming elections, season of surveys seems to have started. More than the “season of surveys”, it is the “season of fooling people in the name of surveys’ is in full swing now.

Recently social media is agog with some news on some surveys. For example, there is a gossip that is widely being circulated that – former MP Lagadapati Raja Gopal, who is known as Andhra octopus has recently done a survey and it predicts Jagan becoming CM of AP in 2019. As per the rumor, YSRCP will win around 105-110 seats while TDP will adjust with 55 seats. But in a recent interview, Lagadapati confirmed that he has not done any such survey and if at all he does such survey he himself will come to media and announce the results.

It could be recalled that, much before Nandyala by-poll also, rumours were circulated that Lagadapati survey predicted YSRCP win. But he dismissed any such survey being done at that point of time. Now there is another rumour that Rahul Gandhi himself arranged for a survey in AP and that survey also predicted Jagan becoming CM in 2019. Needless to say, these are the baseless rumours circulated by YSRCP enthusiasts, maybe to improve morale of their cadre.
