Speaking to media channels outside the Parliament, TDP MP CM Ramesh lashed out at YSRCP and YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy. CM Ramesh alleged that YSRCP is opposing the development in Andhra Pradesh. Following is the full text:
‘While Central Minister Sujana Chowdary is discussing with Amit Shah, over the commitments made by the BJP towards AP, YSRCP leader Vijay Sai Reddy, instead of appreciating it, tried to disrupt.
We have clearly witnessed what has happened in the last couple of days in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
Vijay Sai Reddy was sitting was dumb for the past few days in the house. As soon as Sujana Chowdary, in the honour of a Cabinet Minister, tried explaining the house about the commitments made towards Andhra Pradesh, he started opposing him. This isn’t the first time YSRCP lowered itself for political brownie points.
YSRCP leaders have a dark history of opposing development in AP, and allegation TDP falsely.
In the past, the YSRCP leaders took it as their responsibility to stop the Central Government from dispensing MGNREGA funds, and workers payments to the AP State. By unremittingly writing letters, and making fabricated allegations against the TDP government, they were partially successful in achieving their goal.
The YSRCP is putting all its efforts to ensure the state doesn’t receive any help from the Centre. For the very purpose, they have even set up a special petition cell.
Even during the movement against bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in Parliament, the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan and Vijay Sai Reddy were more than happy with Andhra Pradesh’s bifurcation.’
