‘We have implemented many of them as promised under the Special Package. At the same time, few more are in progress.
- Educational Institutions have been established in AP
- Released funds for under-developed regions
- Centre released over Rs 2500 Crores for Capital construction
- The Centre is bearing the complete cost of construction of Polavaram. As of now, we already sanctioned Rs 4,000 Crores
We deeply sympathize with the people of AP. All the necessary measures are being taken to fulfil all the commitments in a satisfactory manner. There are few differences regarding the Revenue Deficit. We will surely look into it,’ read Arun Jaitley.
The remaining two:
‘Talking about the two things that the Centre is yet to fulfil, the complete fulfilment of Special Package and the Revenue Deficit. In a couple of days, the Center will come up with a clear formula in how to implement the necessary reforms, and do justice to the state of Andhra Pradesh’, concluded Arun Jaitley.
