TDP MP Naramalli Sivaprasad is also a popular Telugu film actor. The actor-turned-politician comes up with unique antics and getups to express his displeasure. In the ongoing row between the Centre and the State, Sivaprasad appeared in the form of Narada and staged his protests against the Centre. He is once again seen sporting the avatar of Pothuraju, with all the elements in his hand, expressing his dissatisfaction over Centre along with other TDP MPs.
Adding more to the drama, Pothuraju was seen being possessed by God’s spirit. In an effort to please the Pothuraju, the TDP MPs said, ‘Amma… will make sure that the promises made will be fulfilled. Please do forgive us. Will ensure that justice will be done to the 5 Crore Telugu people of AP’.
The video went viral on social networking sites as soon as it was posted and drew widespread support from people of different states too.
Meanwhile, few took a jibe at Sivaprasad for his antics. While many others supported his move. ‘When someone sees him, they might laugh at his attire. At the same time, they get to understand the motive behind his antics and getups. He is fighting for the people of AP state,’ said TDP social wing.
While Sivaprasad enacted the role of Pothuraju, other TDP MPs like Jayadev Galla, CM Ramesh, Murali Mohan, Kesineni, Maganti Venkateswara Rao, and other were seen holding placards.
