Briefly taking the focus away from the ongoing row in the Parliament, PM Modi has something very exciting about his life to share with the 130 crore Indians. Talking to the media personnel last evening, Modi shared that he hasn’t taken a leave for the past 20 years and many more.
‘There have been instances when my friends and family invited me to take part in family events and celebrations, but I never felt like taking a leave. Even when my health did not cooperate, I only strived to work, despite the shortcomings.
During my stint as the CM of Gujarat, I toured the whole state extensively. Similarly, before and after I became the PM, I travelled through the length and breadth of the nation. I cherished tasting the local dishes, and in fact, they keep away from taking a leave. During my foreign trips, I don’t take any cooks along with me. I am more than happy to taste the local foods.
I started my day by practising Yoga, read the daily editorials and quickly go through my email id. Parallelly I open ‘Modi App’ to check for suggestions given by the people, and make a note of them. Before I got to bed, I will go through important files and documents. I ensure that important files are signed off. At the same time, I only formulate my next day’s schedule. Generally, I end up sleeping 4 hours. But I recommended 4-6 hours sleep at the least. For me every day is equally important,’ said Modi.
