After disappointing audience with Paisa Vasool last year, dashing filmmaker Puri Jagannadh has sidelined his other commitments to relaunch his son Akash Puri with a full length debut film.

Titled as Mehbooba, the film is tipped to be an intense romantic entertainer set in the 1970s. Majority of the film’s shoot happened in North India. The entire shooting formalities have been wrapped up and the post production phase has kick started from today in Hyderabad.

Produced by Puri himself on his home banner, Mehbooba is scheduled for mid Summer release.
