Be it the exchange of heated arguments filled with sarcasm, or witnessing the avatar of Lord Krishna, the Indian parliament has many things to offer. The same MPs who behave with high dignity, and utter sweet words prior to elections, are seen lamenting each other, with doors closed, inside the Parliament. Their behaviour can even shock the most notorious animals.
With the protests for ‘Special Category Status’ for AP reaching a new high, the Andhra Pradesh MPs have decided to disrupt the functioning of the Parliament Houses, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, right from the word go.
In both the house the speakers requested the Andhra MPs to calm down, and they had an important announcement to be made. But the MPs turned a deaf ear. With no other go, Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12:00 noon. Surprisingly, the Lok Sabha ran for only 30 seconds, shorter than YouTube Ads runtime.
Similarly, the Rajya Sabha Speaker (and Vice President) Venkaiah Naidu, adjourned the house till 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Rajya Sabha ran for under 3 minutes, shorter than an average short film (of 5 minutes).
Lok Sabha, which resumed at 12:00 noon has been once again adjourned till tomorrow, given the continuous protest from Andhra Pradesh MPs.
