Despite of the filmmakers taking enough steps to curb piracy, several films are being shared, downloaded and transferred online. German based tech-firm TECXIPIO has been tracking peer to peer (P2P) downloading and they own the data since 2012. TECXIPIO shared the list of the most pirated Telugu films of 2017 with the leading news daily The Hindu. As expected, Baahubali – The Conclusion tops the list with over 9.37 million downloads.
Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham, Arjun Reddy, Fidaa, Khaidi No 150 and others are the most downloaded films for last year in Telugu. Here is the list with the number of times the film has been downloaded:
Baahubali – The Conclusion: 9.37 million
DJ- Duvvada Jagannadham: 1.7 million.
Arjun Reddy: 1.4 million
Fidaa: 1.15 million.
Khaidi No. 150: 1 million.
Ninnu Kori: 899,978
