BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy bids goodbye to BJP party today. He told, he will be sending the letter of resignation to the party high command soon. As per the reports, he will be join the Congress party.
Nagam Janardhana Reddy worked as minister in TDP government earlier. During Telangana movement, he resigned to TDP in 2012 and formed his own party Telangana Nagara Samithi. Later he joined BJP and contested from Mahaboob Nagar constituency in the 2014 election and was defeated. However, Nagan Janardhana Reddy is very much dissatisfied with the BJP state leadership for quite some time.
It is reported that Nagam Janardhana Reddy met Congress president Rahul Gandhi last month and he received a green signal to join the Congress party. On the other hand, Congress party leaders from the Mahbubnagar district have expressed strong objection to join Nagam Janardhana Reddy into Congress Party. Anyway, influx of leaders into Telangana Congress seems to be unstoppable.
