Biopics are all the rage at present. After the announcement of biopic on legendary actor and politician NTR drew huge attention, one more news became a talking point in media. It is the formal announcement of biopic on former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
It has already been reported that seasoned actor Mammootty is all set to essay the lead role in this biopic. Also, audience are eagerly waiting to see who will step into the shoes of YSR’s wife Vijayamma’s role.
Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that popular Tamil actress Saranya Ponvannan is the forerunner for this role. Reports suggest that the makers are keen to rope her as she befits the get-up of YS Vijayamma perfectly.
Initially, they considered Radhika for the role. But, they are now looking to cast Saranya for the role.
An official confirmation will be out very soon. Directed by Mahi V Raghav, the film has been titled as Yatra.
