Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam has completed its Censor formalities and set for a grand release on March 30.
The film’s runtime is said to be around 170 Minutes which is quite lengthy in the current trend. However, when the team thought of trimming the runtime by 15-20 minutes, Chiranjeevi advised against their idea.
Sources say that Chiru watched Rangasthalam and felt that it needs such a lengthy duration to carry all the emotions perfectly. When Sukumar and team revealed that they are planning to to chop down few scenes to reduce the runtime, reluctant Chiru asked them to leave it untouched as it has shaped up quite well.
So, it is going to be a lengthy watch for audience this Friday. What remains to be seen is whether Sukumar manages to keep audience invested to his narration despite having a runtime of 170 minutes.
Rangasthalam received U/A certificate from censor board.
