Even before further developments have taken place with ‘Janasena Party’, apart from the CPI, CPM and Janasena meeting, people are starting to walk out. The spat between Janasena Party and Lok Satta founder (former IAS cadre officer) Jayaprakash Narayana became public. Things went down the lane after JP announced that he is coming up with an Independent Experts committee.
‘I am the first one who came with the demand for Special Category Status. The interest Pawan Kalyan has shown in the JFC (Joint Fact-Finding Committee) by Janasena party did not last long. Even after the report has been submitted, there are no further developments in that aspect. That motivated me to form an Independent Expert Committee.
If JFC is like the first phase, then Independent Expert Committee is the second phase in finding the facts. If the Centre can allocate us some time, we are willing to go and meet them’, concluded JP.
While this is a good thing in view of the welfare of the state, this isn’t something Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan might be expecting. Reports claimed that an official statement from Janasena in this regard is likely to be released.
