Kambhampati Hari Babu has submitted his resignation as AP BJP President to Amit Shah, BJP National President. The move comes amidst a critical political situation in Andhra Pradesh, where every party is battling for itself in the upcoming polls.
Talking to the media, K Hari Babu said that he submitted his resignation letter to Amit Shah, thanking the BJP Party High Command for giving him an opportunity to serve the party as AP BJP President. Sources close to the BJP leader confirmed that Hari Babu has requested the party to nominate a young and dynamic leader as AP BJP President.
‘Hari Babu stated that he resigned to the post of AP BJP President to pave way for the youth to lead the party. He also requested the party high command to nominate a young leader keeping the 2019 AP Assembly polls in mind’, said a source.
Meanwhile, political circles pointed out that, Hari Babu decided to resign respectfully before BJP chooses the AP BJP new president. Many believe that Hari Babu’s non-aggressive approach towards opposition parties might have led him to this situation with the BJP high command.
