Chalasani Srinivas, President of ‘AP Prathyeka Hodha Sadhana Committee’ came down strongly on Superstar Mahesh Babu, and the Telugu Film Industry (TFI). Speaking in a press meet regarding the cancellation of the Chittoor – Bengaluru March, the social activist condemned Mahesh Babu, for not participating in the AP SCS protests.
‘The Telugu Film Industry nowhere took part in the fight against the Center for not granting Andhra Pradesh the SCS. While actor Mahesh Babu kept himself away from the fight for AP SCS, actor Sampoornesh Babu, who hails from Telangana took part in this.
The Film Industry is behaving the way it wants and on its own terms. We will soon give the TFI an ultimatum. Regarding the cancellation of the Chittoor – Bengaluru March, we were denied the permit because the election code (due to Karnataka Elections) is in operation.
We will organize the Chittoor – Bengaluru March in June, with college students’, said Chalasani Srinivas.
It looks like Chalasani Srinivas has forgotten the fact that hero Sivaji who is a key part of his committee is also a film actor, and belongs to the Telugu Film Industry.
