Namrata Shirodkar, former Miss India and wife of Superstar Mahesh Babu, is in transports of delight after the overwhelming response for Bharat Ane Nenu. Speaking to a popular news agency, Namrata spoke about her personal life, BAN success, her influence on Mahesh Babu’s career and other things.
She is happy that the film has ended the low phase of Mahesh Babu who has been struggling to deliver a decent film since the last couple of years. Namrata adds ‘ Mahesh doesn’t want to let his fans down and has been questioning himself regarding his selection of films’.
Namrata also said they are elated after Mahesh received a huge honour in the form of a wax statue at Madame Tussauds.
She also opened up about her influence on Mahesh Babu’s career. Namrata says Mahesh knows his mind and takes his own decisions. ‘He just discusses with me about stories and other issues, but never asks my opinion or suggestions,’ asserts Namrata. She also added that Mahesh chooses to dress in his own style.
Namrata says Mahesh is a family person and loves to spend time with kids a lot. And adds, She has no regrets leaving her career and Mumbai for Mahesh and kids.
She concludes saying Mahesh is currently on a much needed holiday and will return in a month to resume the regular shooting of his next month.
