Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had toured Srikakulam district initially and batted for the mysterious kidney disease patients of Uddanam area. Three years after that, former IPS officer and former joint director of the CBI, V V Lakshminarayana is now touring the area for the next three days. He would be meeting the kidney disease victims and interact with them in the next three days starting from Thursday.
After Pawan Kalyan’s visit the Central government had sanctioned 10 dialysis centres to address the dialysis requirements of the kidney patients. For all these years, the poor patients have been visiting Visakhapatnam for dialysis and the opening of the dialysis centers had come as some solace to their woes.
Now, with political ambitions, Lakshminarayana has set his eyes on the kidney disease patients. His first interaction after voluntary retirement was with the farmers in Guntur district, where he proposed greater initiatives to make agriculture profitable. He had made his mind clear that he would spend his time working for the farmers. Now, with the kidney diseases, it is clear that he would be touching most pressing issues of the people across the State.
Lakshminarayana would be spending his three days touring Palakonda, Itchapuram and Amudalavalasa Assembly constituencies of the district.
