At a time when the TDP leaders are finding it hard to shield themselves from allegations by opposition parties, the party is slowly but steadily losing its ground in various districts. After YS Jagan’s ‘NTR comments’, many assumed that TDP would cash on the opportunity, and will corner YSRCP and YS Jagan.
But interestingly, the TDP itself is facing horrendous situations within the party. Former State Cabinet Minister and senior TDP leader Galla Aruna Kumari has resigned for the Chandragiri Constituency Incharge post, which she is currently serving. Adding insult to the injury, her resignation came after her meeting with Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Close sources confirmed that Galla Aruna was stubborn, and did not heed to CM’s request to continue as the party In-charge for Chandragiri.
Galla Aruna has left to abroad, citing personal reasons leaving her supporters and followers in a confused state. Meanwhile, other senior leaders in the Chittoor district already started making their moves to capture the Chandragiri Incharge post which is currently lying vacant. This development is being perceived as a strong blow in the Chittoor district for the TDP.
