SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus war spectacle Baahubali : The Conclusion released across 7000 Screens in China today. The period drama has embarked on a flying start at the Chinese box office with solid footfalls on its opening day.
According to the latest trade reports, the visual extravaganza opened at third place in the list of all time top grossing Indian films in China with an opening day gross of ¥ 15.77M. Baahubali 2 is third highest opener in China after Secret Superstar and Hindi Medium which have collected ¥ 43.67 M and ¥ 21.27 M respectively.
Aamir khan’s Dangal and Salmaan Khan’s Bhajarangi Bhaijaan are in fourth and fifth places.
Baahubali 2 has already surpassed the life time collections of Baahubali 1 and set for a strong show at the Chinese box office. The buzz among Chinese audience has been pretty amazing and trade circles are betting big on this war drama which concludes the story of two warring brothers who fight for hegemony over the fictional kingdom of Mahismati.
The film features Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Tamannaah and few other artists in crucial roles. Arka Media Works banner has produced the film.
