Cannot digest the genuine review of a woman critic, Stylish star Allu Arjun’s fans have blatantly issued rape threats on her social media page.
Going into the news, Aparna Prasanthi, a film critic based in Kerala who reviews for leading Malayalam portals wrote on her Facebook page that she couldn’t tolerate head ache after watching Allu Arjun’s recent release Naa Peru Surya.
As soon as she posted her opinion about the film, she became a target of Allu Arjun fans who launched an offensive and came up with abusive comments against her and her family.
She was shell shocked looking at some of the messages as they called her anti national and Pakistani spy as she didn’t like a film which has a patriotic storyline. Also, some fans have attacked her friends who came in support for her through comments. Fans have reported her account which resulted in suspension of her account.
Feared with the constant messages and comments, Aparna has filed a complaint with Mallapuram Police last Thursday. A case has been registered and investigation is under process.
It may be noted that Naa Peru Surya has opened to mixed reports in Telugu states as well and has failed to attract audience from the second day itself.
