Immediately after the release of ‘Rangasthalam’, Ram Charan, as part of promotions, said the film will be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Bhojpuri languages. While the status regarding Hindi and Bhojpuri is awaited, we hear that the works related to Tamil and Malayalam dubbing are in full-swing. It seems that production house Mythri Movie Makers has struck a deal with Studio Greens K Gnanavel Raja to release the Tamil dubbed version.
“Raja loved the film and expressed his interest to release it across TN. Mythri had no objections as they felt that he is the best bet when it comes to promotions and giving it a wide release. Charan has promised that he’ll attend the Tamil promotions as and when he gets time from his busy schedule,” confirmed a source, while adding, “The film has a certain Tamil touch to it and Raja is keen to tap into it. Also, since it boasts of actors like Samantha and Aadhi who command a fan base in TN, he felt that he’d get decent openings and can later bank on the good word of mouth as the film is already a monster hit in Telugu.”
As far as Malayalam version is concerned, the sourced added, “The makers have taken the help of people who have dubbed Allu Arjun’s Telugu films into Malayalam. They are optimistic of Mohanlal’s Aashirwad Cinemas to distribute it across Kerala. Both Tamil and Malayalam versions will have a simultaneous release.”
