Kaushal is one among 16 contestants participating in Bigg Boss season 2 Telugu and he joined the show in celebrity category. When he entered the house general audience wondered who he is but he is well known name who follow Telugu TV serials.
Kaushal Manda is his full name. He was born and brought up in Vishakapatnam, His father was a drama artiste and so he also participated in dramas and serials in childhood itself. He acted as child artiste in TV as early in 1980s and he got National Best Child Artist Award too. After schooling in Vizag, Kaushal went to Namath Kapoor institute in Mumbai to get training in acting and later he joined crash course for direction at Pune film institute.
Kaushal acted in several Telugu serials. He mainly acted in negative roles. His role in “Surya Vamsham” serial is well remembered by Telugu TV audience. Remember ‘Dance Baby Dance’ on Gemini TV ? He was anchor for that show in early days.
Kaushal has very good physique and he is fitness freak. He is Mr India contest in 1998. He appeared in around 200 TV commercial ads in various languages. He endorsed several brands like Grasim, Babaj, Boxer, Tide, Maruthi, GMR, LG, Vijaya Textiles,CMR, Viskha dairy, SONY music, Aditya music, Airtel, Coca-Cola, Fantoosh , Linen Club and many more.
Kaushal featured in many Telugu movies in supporting roles. But he never got that big break in movies. He appeared in all south Indian languages Telugu, Tamil, and 3 Kannada. He appeared in the roles like hero ( comedy express ), villain, supporting actor, and many other character roles. He was seen in Rajakumarudu, Mahesh Babu’s debut movie and Prabhas’s Mr perfect.
Kaushal is multi-faceted personality. He is the CEO of The Looks productions that does event management and celebrity wedding planning events. He is very popular among celebrity circles because of this company.
