Sampoornesh Babu was just a junior artiste earlier. One man who changed his fate completely is director Sai Rajesh, who directed Hrudaya Kalyam movie. The movie created sensation at box office as people enjoyed as film introduced a new genre to Telugu audience. The film that blended several genres and redefined spoofs and sarcasm in Telugu cinema. In fact director Sai Rajesh displayed the name of the director(himself) sarcastically as “Steven Shankar’ – a mix of the names Steven Spielberg and director Shankar. His next film is Kobbarimatta and now he is displaying the name of the director as ‘Roopak Ronald’. He recently tweeted that he is awestruck by Sampoo’s performance in a scene he recently performed. Sai Rajesh tweeted regarding this.
He tweeted that after watching the first copy of Kobbarimatta movie, he felt there needs to be a highpoint during interval and he brainstormed with writer Raghuram Shripaada for around 8 hours. FInally they wrote a dialog that is very difficult to utter and enact.But after seeing the script of the dialogue, Sampoo told it’s impossible for him to do that scene as it is very difficult. But after three days, he sent a video in whatsapp where he enacted the dialogue and that 3 minute 6 sec video left the director awestruck as Sampoo told the dialuge non-stop.
The director added that this dialogue will appear in the movie just before interval and will leave the audience also awestruck. He told, Sampoo improved a lot as actor since Hrudaya Kaleyam and now he is much better actor now and audience will just love him in Kobbarimatta.
