Workers-cum-voters of The Singareni Collieries Company Limited, which is extended up to as many as 10 assembly segments, play key role in winning chances of any party whether it may be Singareni internal polls, local polls, Assembly or Parliamentary elections.
Usually, the workers stand on a single word during elections and the support of the workers is almost said to be victory of candidates. But, this time, the political parties are failing in catching pulse of the workers. Meanwhile, the notices issued by the Singareni management to all the political parties on not to organise campaign programmes in the premises of the company or coal mines are becoming impediments in reaching voters to the political parties. The candidates from the 10 segments and aspirants are lined up at the exit points of coal mines to organise campaign programmes and making feats to attract them.
Sources from the Singareni told ‘Telugu 360’ that the workers unions might take a decision on their support to particular political party by the second week of November.
